In a breath... In a breath is how quickly someone with Mast Cell Activation Syndrome can be in medical crisis, with death from anaphilaxis shock potential. Mast Cell Activation Syndrome is a disorder characterized by the normal Mast Cells used to keep a person healthy being programmed wrong. Allergies, excessive allergies, is one of the most recognized symptoms. Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS) is far more than allergies. Every physical system is plagued be immune issues, and even stress can cause a Mast Cell reaction including anaphylaxis. In most cases triggers come from; mold, perfumes, cleaners, numerous chemical compounds, fuels, smoke (especially cigarettes), medications, foods, and some things found in nature. Everyone's triggering allergies are different. Mine, well modern life doesn't work for me! My triggers are indoor chemicals, anything fragrance based, mold (exceptionally reactive), medications and foods. I'm pretty much golden out of town and away from perfumed people. It's made me a ghost. In 2018 I moved to the Desert as doctors Recommended. I had employment, but lost employment due to MCAS causing concerns ,anaphylaxis to anaphylaxis like reactions, with employers. In all honesty, legally, they can't keep me "reasonably accommodated." Job loss caused me to go homeless. In becoming homeless I found a whole new world, right here in the US that is hard to reach, and desperately NEEDS Jesus. My missions trip began! I'm now a vanlifer among the homeless, using this page, my writing and hundreds of skills to fund missions! I will also be writing, in conjunction with Jef Allen, Biblical studies pertaining to today's society and a scholarly breakdown of Christian living. So, unable to live in towns, normal society... Only there as kind of a ghost, I am the......... "Ghost of the Woods!" At least till I'm allergic to the woods (couldn't help myself). View all posts by GhostoftheWoods
